COVID-19 Safety Info
To our family of patients...and their families, friends, neighbors and co-workers:
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up to date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agency’s recommendations.
Prior and at your appointment, please communicate with us if you have tested positive for Covid-19, experiencing symptoms or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive. You will be required to wear a face mask and sanitize your hands upon entering the office. My entire team, including myself are under strict orders to monitor our own health and for any potential symptoms of illness. We will all be wearing face masks including our front office team.
Hand sanitizers are available in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed. Additional safety measures such as new HEPA Air filtration systems have been installed and as we always have, all surfaces are disinfected between patients, instruments sterilized and use of disposables wherever possible. We encourage our patients to come to the appointment unaccompanied.
We look forward to seeing you at your next appointment and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at (718) 745-4990 or Request an Appointment.
We value your trust and loyalty, and we thank you for being our patient.
Sincerely,
Dr. Richard Romano
